Selena Gomez delighted fans at a Rare Beauty promotional event in London on Tuesday by allowing them to stream her upcoming single, which is likely titled “Call Me When You Break Up.”
This anticipated duet features the 32-year-old pop star alongside Gracie Abrams, with production handled by her fiancé, Benny Blanco. As she introduced the song at Mortimer House in Fitzrovia, Selena admitted, “Oh, I get so nervous!” while fans eagerly gathered around.
Gomez sang, “Call me when you break up / I wanna be the first one on your mind when you wake up,” followed by, “I miss the way we’d stay up / We talk about forever when I’m taking off my make-up.”
Looking chic in a $950 red Roland Mouret mini-dress and $975 Jimmy Choo pumps, styled by Erin Walsh, Selena showcased her slim figure. Despite ongoing rumors regarding her health and fitness, she revealed to LADBible on November 11 that she “doesn’t even go to the gym.”
Her sleek brunette bob was styled by Renato Campora, and makeup artist Hung Vanngo gave her a radiant look. Selena expressed her excitement to her fans, saying, “I’m so thrilled for you guys to share it. This song is actually about my best friend, so it’s not what you might think. Creating this album with Benny has been so much fun, and I hope you all enjoy it!”
This single is the second from her collaborative album, I Said I Love You First, set to release on March 21, following the debut of “Scared of Loving You” last Thursday.
Fans on TikTok couldn’t contain their excitement, with one user commenting, “OMG it’s a bop!” Another wrote, “I’m so happy for you, and the song is so good!” while a third added, “Sounds like something she would release in her early career. I love it!”
