Fans were taken aback when Taylor Swift altered her signature style for dinner in Surry Hills, Sydney, on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old pop icon traded her chicly styled blonde locks for a head of naturally curly, golden hair that cascaded over her shoulders.
In contrast to the bold red lipstick she typically sports on stage, the Pennsylvania native opted for a more understated makeup and lipstick style.
Taylor also swapped out the vibrant stage outfits she donned in Melbourne last week. Instead, she chose a sleeveless black top paired with a tan skirt for a more relaxed appearance.
For her off-duty look, the “Shake It Off” singer added a delicate necklace and a shiny black belt to cinch her waist.
Even though she was wearing something very different from what she wore on the Eras Tour, Taylor still looked very confident as she waved to the crowd.
As Swift made her way to a waiting car, throngs of fans attempted to catch a glimpse of her. She exuded effortless beauty in her low-key look.
On Tuesday night, she turned heads in Sydney while dining at an Italian trattoria in the heart of the city.
The 34-year-old global superstar surprised patrons at Pellegrino 2000, a local eatery in Surry Hills.
The restaurant was awarded NSW’s No. 1 in 2022. It’s the second establishment launched by renowned chefs Daniel Pepperell and Michael Cliff, alongside sommelier Andy Tyson. They also operate the popular Potts Point eatery, Bistrot 916.
Pellegrino 2000 boasts a number of high-profile fans, including Sylvia Jeffreys from Channel Nine, Melissa Leong from MasterChef Australia, Samantha Armytage from Farmer Wants a Wife, radio personality Kate Ritchie, cricket WAG Emma Lyon, and podcast host Abbie Chatfield.
The popular eatery describes itself as a “neighborhood trattoria” and is celebrated for its Italian cuisine and wine.
It’s reported that Swift did not reserve the entire venue; she dined alongside other paying patrons.
Wearing a brown leather skirt and a simple black gypsy top, Swift fit right into a hipster neighborhood on Tuesday night.
Last week, she performed for the largest audience of her career in Melbourne. From Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26, she will host four shows in Sydney.
