Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez Nominated at the 2025 Golden Globes in Los Angeles
Host Nikki Glaser, 40, kicked off the evening with a playful mention of weight-loss medication, declaring it “Ozempic’s biggest night.”
Broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, Glaser praised Zendaya for her performance in “Challengers,” a film centered on a love triangle involving a tennis champion, her husband, and her ex-boyfriend.
“That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card,” Glaser quipped. “I know … I’m disappointed too. The after-party isn’t going to be as fun.”
She humorously suggested that Stanley Tucci might need to take over hosting duties. “No baby oil this year, just olive oil,” Glaser added.
In related news, on March 25, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami were searched as part of a federal human trafficking investigation, as confirmed by officials to Fox News Digital.
Authorities reportedly seized an array of “Freak Off” supplies, including narcotics and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, as outlined in the federal indictment.
As Glaser listed the nominated films, she humorously included a reference to a well-known star. “‘Wicked,’ ‘Queer,’ ‘Nightbitch’ … these aren’t just words Ben Affleck shouts during climax,” she joked.
Before the show, Glaser reflected on her 22 years of hard work in the entertainment industry. “I started out on ‘Last Comic Standing’ while I was in college,” she shared with CBS, reminiscing about her time with MTV and Comedy Central.
