Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter, Simone, appeared unimpressed while sitting next to Selena Gomez at the 2025 Golden Globes.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s daughter, Simone, appeared less than impressed as she sat alongside Selena Gomez at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday. This came just after her father experienced an awkward moment with Vin Diesel, following their previous clashes during the filming of 2017’s The Fate of the Furious.

However, she did not seem too invested in the festivities as she was caught in the background not reacting to Seth Rogen and Catherine O'Hara's comedy gag

At the gala, Simone, 23, was seated between her 52-year-old father and the 32-year-old Only Murders in the Building star. Despite the lively atmosphere, she seemed disengaged, notably not reacting to a comedic bit by Seth Rogen and Catherine O’Hara.

Simone did not react but her famous father could be seen giggling to himself about the joke

The Canadian duo presented the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and made some rather risqué jokes. Seth joked about the more relaxed cultural norms in Canada, saying, “Here in Canada, we don’t have America’s Puritanical roots, so pornographic films are as lauded as non-pornographic films. I also did a lot of Canadian adult work: Log Riders was great, Sticky Syrup, of course, and The Moose Knuckles trilogy.”

Simone sat in between her 52-year-old former WWE World Champion father and the 32-year-old Only Murders In The Building star at the gala event.

Catherine chimed in, “Oh my God, Moose Knuckles 2 was a massive hit!” While Dwayne and Selena could be seen chuckling at the humor, Simone remained stoic, only covering her face and not responding to the jokes.

Seth continued, “Oh yes, Moose Knuckles 2: Knuckles Deep won Canada’s most prestigious film award. We won a Beaver; we actually swept the Beavers that year. It was a multi-Beaver-winning film. My mother especially loves Knuckles Deep.” This elicited laughs from Dwayne and Selena, but Simone’s expression remained unchanged.

The two Canadians were on-hand to present the award Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television when they made some rather raunchy jokes

Shortly after this comedic presentation, Dwayne found himself in an awkward encounter with Vin Diesel. The two have a complicated history, having starred together in Fast Five, Furious 6, and The Fate of the Furious, during which Johnson had previously made headlines for calling out a co-star—later confirmed to be Diesel.
