Just days before his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of rape and repeated physical abuse, Diddy attempted to rebrand himself as “Love” during a talk show interview, speaking in a meandering fashion about being on a “healing journey.”

At the same time, he was facing a lawsuit in Manhattan’s Federal District Court. In the legal filing, Cassie accuses Diddy of drugging her, physically assaulting her, and forcing her into sexual acts with multiple male prostitutes while he observed, masturbated, and recorded.
