Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco shared a romantic moment in a holiday photo posted on her Instagram on Friday, just two weeks after their engagement.
The 32-year-old “Wolves” singer, who recently showcased her stunning $1 million diamond ring from the record producer, was seen snuggling up to Benny, 36, as they relaxed in a cozy chair.
Earlier this month, on December 11, Selena announced that Benny had proposed after a year and a half of dating.
In the heartwarming snapshot, Gomez celebrated the festive season in a gray onesie adorned with snowflake patterns. She paired it with red-printed socks and a white knit beanie, letting her brunette hair flow naturally.
Accessorizing with silver-hooped earrings, she proudly displayed her 8-carat marquise-cut engagement ring while resting her left hand on Benny’s cheek.
Benny kept it casual in a cream sweater and white trousers. The couple was captured sharing a kiss, enjoying each other’s company during the holiday festivities.
In her post, Selena wrote to her 423 million followers, “Hope everyone had a lovely holiday!”
On Friday, she also shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram stories to show off the ring alongside a sparkling red purse. While wearing the same outfit, she recently posted a clip of herself singing Christmas carols with Benny by her side.
As they snuggled in the chair, they belted out lyrics to “Winter Wonderland,” with Selena holding a teddy bear in her left hand, giving another glimpse of her dazzling ring.
Benny filmed the moment, and later, she shared a picture of herself enjoying a festive cocktail at a restaurant.
Just two weeks earlier, the former Disney Channel star revealed that Benny had proposed during a romantic picnic on a set, sharing a series of photos from that special moment.
In one image, she showcased her left hand, allowing her 423 million fans a close-up view of the striking diamond ring.
Jeweler Laura Taylor told MailOnline, “Benny’s choice of engagement ring for Selena is an exquisite and timeless design, perfectly suited to her style.”
The ring features an impressive marquise-cut diamond at its center, estimated to be around 8 carats, set on a yellow gold pavé band.
Taylor added, “The marquise cut, with its elongated shape, is known for its brilliance and elegance, enhancing the finger’s appearance. The pavé band maximizes sparkle and luxury, beautifully complementing the central diamond.”
She noted that the central diamond likely boasts exceptional quality, with VVS1 clarity and colorless grading in the D-F range, estimating the ring’s worth to be upwards of £800,000 ($1 million), depending on the precise specifications.
