New details have surfaced about the amazing surprise birthday party Travis Kelce organized for Taylor Swift in Kansas City last week.
Kelce’s friend, DJ E-V, shared photos and videos from the celebration, showcasing the success of the event. E-V has previously performed at Kelce’s Kelce Jam music festival and has been a guest in his VIP suite at Chiefs games.
The party was themed around Swift’s Eras Tour, which had just concluded its successful run just days before her birthday. E-V’s new images reveal that Kelce had “End of an Era” displayed in large red neon letters above the DJ booth.
He also posted a picture of his playlist from the night, giving fans a glimpse into the songs Travis and Taylor danced to with their friends. The playlist included tracks from The Rolling Stones, Prince, Tame Impala, and Earth, Wind & Fire, but notably, none of Swift’s songs were featured.
Swift believed she was simply going out for dinner with Kelce when she was surprised by her friends for her 35th birthday. Images from the event have since flooded social media, including a speech Kelce gave for Swift. It’s also come to light that he hired a party planner to ensure everything went perfectly.
This revelation was shared by Kelce’s close friend, Harry Clark, who posted a picture from the night featuring Kelce and a mystery blonde, tagging Amanda Carlo, the party planner. “Thank you for putting together an amazing event,” he wrote.
Swift’s close friend Ashley Avignone noted that the singer had no idea about the surprise. Her Instagram post reflected on the night, mentioning how Swift thought she was attending a quiet dinner that turned out to be a large celebration with friends and family.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was among the first to post photos from the event. The pictures showed guests wearing homemade friendship bracelets, reminiscent of Swift’s fans, and dressing up to represent different albums from her Eras Tour.
Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday as Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs improved their record to 14-1, defeating the Houston Texans 27-19, with Kelce making five receptions for 30 yards. The Chiefs are set to play next on Christmas Day against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As of now, Swift has not attended any away games this season to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs, and it remains to be seen if she’ll break that trend during the holidays.
