Selena Gomez was seen publicly for the first time since announcing her engagement to Benny Blanco on Wednesday. 

The 32-year-old actress, known for her role in Emilia Perez, arrived at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, greeting fans with a friendly wave. This appearance followed her recent Instagram post revealing that the 36-year-old record producer had proposed with a stunning 8-carat marquise-cut diamond ring after a year and a half of dating. 

Although Gomez chose not to wear the ring for this outing, she dazzled in a black velvet skirt paired with a white blouse tucked into her waist, complemented by a long black coat and closed-toed black pumps. 

Her short, brunette hair was styled in loose curls, framing her face elegantly. She accessorized with dangling silver earrings and a silver ring on her right hand, while her makeup featured classic touches, including mascara and a bold red lip. With a bright smile and her smartphone in hand, she made her way to the venue. This outing marked her first since sharing glimpses of the romantic picnic where Blanco proposed, including a close-up of her engagement ring that she posted for her 423 million followers. 

Jeweler Laura Taylor described the ring as an exquisite, timeless design, highlighting the remarkable marquise-cut diamond set on a yellow gold pavé band.
