Once again, Selena Gomez has overtaken Kylie Jenner as the most followed female Instagram user.
On the photo-sharing site, the former Disney star now has 381 million followers, more than Kylie’s 380 million.
Prior to Ariana Grande surpassing her and Kylie, 25, surpassing them, Selena, 30, was the most followed woman on the website in 2019.
The announcement has caused many of the singer’s fans to rejoice, referring to Selena as “the queen of Instagram.”

Selena recently told Vanity Fair that she has stopped using social media and now just uses the TikTok app on her phone, despite having millions of followers.
The celebrity also stated that she felt wounded by trolls’ “mean” remarks and considered excessive use of the platforms to be a “waste of time.”
‘People can call me ugly or stupid, and I’m like, Whatever,’ she remarked. However, these folks get specific. They write really nasty and specific paragraphs. I would be crying all the time. I was anxious all the time.I was no longer able to do it. I wasted my time on it.
