Selena Gomez’s Arrest Footage Grabs Headlines as Behind-the-Scenes Photos from the Set Go Viral on Social Media

On the set of a new film, Selena Gomez was escorted by police while sporting a bloodstained sweater, as seen in pictures shared by thousands of admirers.

The cast of Only Murders in the Building recorded a scenario in which a murder suspect was taken into custody at an apartment building in New York City (USA) on the evening of April 9. The police handcuffed Selena Gomez’s character and led her into a car, and she was terrified. When the scenario ended, a large number of people surrounded her, according to the Daily Mail. Social media users rapidly shared pictures shot on the set.

The show centers on three crime-obsessed strangers (Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez) who attempt to prove their innocence after being involved in a string of killings that occur on apartment floors. Nathan Lane and Amy Ryan also feature. The ten-episode first season has no set release date as of yet.

Gomez’s return to the small screen after playing Alex Russo in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–2012) is marked by Only Murders in the Building. She not only starred in the movie but also produced it with Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Hoffman, Martin, and Short. She most recently starred in The Dead Don’t Die and A Rainy Day in New York in 2019 and provided the voice of Betsy in Dolittle (2020).

Texas, USA, is where Selena Gomez was born in 1992. Her Disney film performances made her famous before she turned to singing. She became a member of The Scene in 2009, and during the next three years, the band released three albums in a row that all debuted in the US top 10 the week they were released.

Going solo since 2013, Gomez has put out three albums, all of which have reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Her song “Lose You to Love Me” was highly appreciated by listeners when it was released in 2020. It was Gomez’s first single to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
