Hailey, his wife, disclosed that she was listening to a song called “I’ll Kill You” just hours after releasing a new song that was allegedly about Justin Bieber.
On Wednesday, however, Selena Gomez was dismissing the coincidences as she made her way to a meeting in Burbank.
As she made her way to Burbank Studios, the 27-year-old singer looked confident in a plunging black suit and stiletto heels.
When Selena stepped out into the sunlight with a chic white handbag, she undoubtedly looked like she was serious.
With a pearl choker necklace and a head full of romantic, loose waves that fell just above her chest, she added yet another stylish touch.
Selena added a hint of rosy blush and smokey eye shadow to further enhance her complexion.
The actress appeared to be in her element, and with good reason—she had just dropped some new songs after taking a four-year hiatus to concentrate on her health.
Her broken romance with Justin seems to be the subject of the song “Lose You To Love Me,” which was released Wednesday at midnight.
The song’s lyrics seem to allude to Justin’s brief transition from Selena to Hailey.
“Now that you rejected me, it’s showing.” Two months later, you took our position. I felt that I earned it, as if it were simple.
Hailey posted a screenshot of a Summer Walker song she was listening to, “I’ll Kill You,” shortly after the song’s official release.
The song was immediately interpreted by fans as a reaction to Selena’s just released song.
Hailey Baldwin uploaded this roughly five minutes after Selena Gomez’s song “Stream for Clear Skin” about her life experiences with an ex and leaving him behind (Justin Bieber is now married to Hailey Baldwin) was released. One Twitter user said, “It’s not the first time she’s shaded her, and probably not the last.”
“I’m not trying to start any drama and I’ve never talked about Hailey Baldwin before. I have neutral feelings for her first, and I’ve never believed the things that Selenators says about her until now. I mean, it’s not a coincidence to post this story right after the song is dropped -1,” said another commenter.
Hailey, however, dispelled the rumors on Instagram, stating that the song was not a “response” to Selena.
She said in a since-deleted comment on a post about the controversy, “Please stop with this foolishness… there is no “answer.” This is total BS.
