The nine-time Grammy winner, 36, exited the backseat of a black SUV wearing a blue T-shirt that read “retired.”

The front of it had the words ‘I’m retired, this is as dressed up as I get’ written in red, yellow, and white lettering.

Rihanna hasn’t put out an album since releasing Anti in 2016, preferring to focus on growing her multibillion-dollar cosmetics company.

She enraged folks this week when she announced that she will shortly be starting her own hair line. “You releasing everything but the album!” exclaimed a fan.

And it seems that Thursday’s T-shirt selection was her way of reacting to the backlash on social media.

Along with a bright green Bottega Veneta purse, red Puma sneakers, and a navy blue mermaid-style skirt, she accessorized it.

The mother-of-two had her golden blonde hair in braids and wore sunglasses with blue-tinted lenses that were reminiscent of the year 2000.

Wearing gaudy gold choker necklaces, Rihanna wore a sparkling statement ring on her left hand.

In terms of cosmetics, the billionaire had a red flush, a dewy skin, and a glossy lip.

She was dropped off by her chauffeured car outside a building in New York City.
