Paul Rudd and Selena Gomez wrapped up in the cold on Thursday as they travelled to the Only Murders in the Building set in Manhattan.
Gomez, 30, who was recently seen holding hands with The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart, stayed warm in black, while Rudd, 53, looked dapper in a beige jacket.
Following a brief cameo in the second season finale, the Ant-Man actor is returning to the role of Broadway actor Ben Glenroy for the third season of the popular Hulu series.
Selena shared a mysterious Instagram photo earlier this week in an attempt to build anticipation for the highly anticipated third season of the critically acclaimed who-done-it.
Earlier this month, she also posted a black-and-white image of herself with her renowned co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, seated on a couch.
The film also included iconic actress Meryl Streep alongside Rudd.
The television series Only Murders in the Building has drawn a number of well-known celebrities to appear as special guests, including Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Cara Delevingne, Shirley MacLaine, and Sting.
The similar black-and-white photo was tweeted by Steve Martin along with the statement, “The filming of season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has begun!” Martin has also been teasing the third season on social media. A cast worthy of dreams
Gomez then posted a humorous video to Instagram in which the gifted group feigned to handle the legendary three-time Oscar winner as though she were a personal assistant.
“Hey guys,” Selena said. We’ve arrived at the set! What do we intend to shoot? Third season! Yay, the gang is back! Really, could things be much better? Wait, what?
Marvel actor Paul Rudd responded, “Well, I do think it could get a little bit better,” as Selena panted her iPhone in his direction.
Meryl appeared out of nowhere behind the couch and said, “Steve, would you like a pillow?” Is there anything Marty needs?
Only deaths in the Building, praised for having one of the best casts on television, follows Gomez, Martin, and Short, three enthusiasts of true crime podcasts, as they collaborate to solve enigmatic deaths in Manhattan.
Selena is also more’snarky’ than ever after working with two comic icons for over three seasons.
She stated, “What I’ve learnt is to be more snarky with my jokes,” in an interview with Vanity Fair during the summer. I can bite a little bit more now.
She continued, “I always hope that I can keep up with them.” “The objective is to always just try to make a joke. I do ask if they find something funny, and they are honest with me if they don’t.”
The third season of Hulu has not yet been released, but it is anticipated to begin streaming later this year.
According to reports, the main plot would centre on finding the killer of Rudd’s character Ben Glenroy.
