Fans were treated to a sensual throwback that Selena Gomez had previously removed from her account.
The 30-year-old star of The Only Murders in the Building drank from a fruity beverage while putting on an extremely curvaceous show in a strapless black top.
She toyed with her ponytail, giving the camera a sexy staring look.
The caption revealed that Selena, who was featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 29th annual Hollywood issue, had originally removed the photo because she felt it was ‘too much.’
But now it seems that she has changed her mind. She captioned the photo, saying, “I deleted this one time because I thought maybe it was too much but eh.”
The image reappeared to the pleasure of fans, who flocked the comments area with many messages of enthusiastic praise.
“Queen is never too much,” a fan wrote.
Another person said, “Wooooooow, please don’t delete it again.”
One fan said, “THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT AGAIN.”
Selena removed the original image after it was shared online in 2018.
The tweet was made after Selena talked about how she decided to hire a helper to manage her social media presence after being bullied by trolls during a breakup.
During an interview with Vanity Fair for their annual Hollywood edition, Gomez disclosed that she would be grieving and experiencing anxiety due to the hurtful remarks she got from people on social media “all the time.”
Gomez claimed that throughout the split, it was challenging to have haters compare you to someone else.
She’s now established a’system’ in which her aide posts on her behalf, acting as a buffer between her and the comments.
I was never able to attend a traditional high school. For a long while, the world was my high school, and I began to receive a lot of unwanted information, she said. “I went through a difficult breakup, and I didn’t want to see any [feedback]—opinions about me versus [someone] else, not necessarily about the relationship.” Even when there might be thousands of kind remarks, my attention would always gravitate to the hurtful one.
Selena enumerated the cruel things trolls had done to her during this period, such as making in-depth analyses of her and labelling her as “ugly or stupid.”
I don’t care whether I’m called ugly or foolish by others. However, these folks become specific. They write such harsh, detailed paragraphs. I would cry all the time. I was anxious all the time…I was at my breaking point. I wasted my time on it.
Although Selena agrees that social media has numerous advantages, such as “connecting with fans,” she now exclusively uses TikTok on her phone since she finds it easier to use than other apps.
TikTok is the only app I have on my phone since I think it’s a little less confrontational. Social media is great for engaging with followers and learning about their tales, as well as for observing how pleased and delighted they are. However, that generally gets through [for me today]. I came up with a system. I send my assistant everything I do, and she posts it. Regarding feedback, my group will compile some uplifting statements.
