A video of a Taylor Swift fan throwing a diamond ring into the crowd at the star’s most recent tour stop in Hamburg, Germany, has gone viral.
The weekend saw the upload of a video by ‘Alannah’ on TikTok, in which she could be seen tearing up to Swift’s breakup ballad My Tears Ricochet while taking off a band from her left ring finger.
She performed a heartfelt rendition of the line, “I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace,” before tossing the ring into the throng.
The ring flew into the air and fell someplace underneath her in the sections of the 57,000-seat Volksparkstadion, a football stadium.

Many believed that rather than throwing the ring away, Alannah would have been better served “selling [the ring] for money.”
Others questioned whether a “lucky” fan had found her diamond sparkler.
According to X, one Swiftie stated, “Someone got a free diamond ring and depending on how big it was, definitely could sell that bad boy and buy more eras tour tickets.”
“The person a few rows down getting a free pawn shop cash out,” another commenter said.
“Someone received a free ring or got hurt.”
In the comment section, a number of Swifties urged other fans not to duplicate Alannah’s TikTok video at upcoming performances.
“We don’t want this trend to catch on!” One ardent admirer said, “It’s just for the attention right now,” while another
