At the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in NYC on Wednesday, Taylor Swift led the celebrities in indulging in wild moments backstage while joking around with Drag Race performers. 

Swift, 34, posted a photo of herself with members of the 16th season cast of RuPaul’s hit show, RuPaul’s Instagram page received a lot of positive feedback.

One commenter said, “We need her as a guest judge ASAP.” “And perform a thousand Taylors in one night on the main stage.”

The show celebrated the meeting with a number of posts on its Instagram page.

“Queens Everywhere (Taylor’s Version)” was written in one caption, and “The #DragRace x @taylorswift crossover of our dreams” was written in another.

“They came, they slayed, and they served body-ody-ody,” said another.

Swift’s request to serve as a guest judge was repeated by others, who stated, “Taylor as a guest judge please,” and, “This is the extra special guest judge I want to see!!!!!.”

Swift “definitely needs to be a judge” on the Paramount+ series, according to one user, while another proposed that she be “the first judge of” the 17th season of the show.

Some viewers pointed out that Dawn from the show was starting to run into her favourite musician.

Taylor celebrated their amazing awards show night backstage with celebrities, including Post Malone, who collaborated with her on Fortnight.

Benson Boone and Shaboozey, meantime, were seen chatting before Boone bent down to help the Tipsy hitmaker with his shoes due to a wardrobe malfunction.

At the MTV Video Music Awards, the singer-songwriter continued to rule the stage as she won seven prizes, including the largest prize of the evening, the video of the year trophy.
