With seven trophies won, the 34-year-old pop megastar emerged victorious from this year’s ceremony and now has 30 VMA gongs.

Beyoncé has also won 30 VMAs, but only 25 of them as a solo artist because she won five of them while she was a member of Destiny’s Child.

Taylor’s collection included two major prizes: Artist of the Year and Video of the Year, which she earned for her collaboration with Post Malone on Fortnight.

Taylor hailed her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, for adding some “fun” to the video production and encouraged people to register to vote in the US Presidential election when she accepted the Video of the Year award at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York.

‘If you’re above 18, please register to vote in the Presidential election, which is another vital election,’ she said.

‘Something I will always remember is that when I would finish a take and say, ‘Cut,’ and we’d be done with the take, I would always just hear someone cheering and going, ‘Wow,’ from across the studio where we were filming it!’ That one person was my boyfriend Travis.

Among Taylor's haul, she took home the main prize of the night, Video of the Year, for her and Post Malone's collaboration 'Fortnight', and she also won the Artist of the Year accoladeI want to thank this man for bringing happiness, fun, and enchantment to our shoot—everything he touches transforms to that.

Taylor used her acceptance speech to honour the September 11th victims and their families after she and Post Malone won the Best Collaboration award for Fortnight.

‘Waking up this morning in New York on September 11th, I’ve just been thinking about what happened 23 years ago,’ the woman stated.

“Everyone we lost and everyone who lost a loved one.” Right now, that is the most crucial factor.

‘Absolutely lost for words, one of the most wonderful and gifted individuals I have ever had the honour of knowing,’ Post said of Taylor after their run of victories.

“I watched her tied up to like the operating table thing in the music video and she was just directing the music video from there.” It’s amazing how much effort, love, and attention she puts into everything she does for the music video.

But Sabrina Carpenter defeated Taylor to take home the Song of the Year award for Espresso, and the celebrity was taken aback by her triumph.

She exclaimed to the crowd, “Oh! Hello, hello, hello! This is particularly special because I’ve never actually won one of these. The fans are the first winners.

I just want to say that you guys are the reason I get to do what I love, even though they’re going to call me off stage as soon as I can if you clap after everything I say.

Additionally, it was the reason we could share songs and have so much fun together. It seems corny, but I really do adore you. You’re the best of all of us, and I am so glad for that.

Chappell Roan won Best New Artist, Eminem won Best Hip-Hop for Houdini, and SZA took home Best R+B for Snooze, among the other prizes of the evening.

Additionally, Katy Perry was awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and the VMA for Most Iconic Performance for her performance in Roar.
