After opening up about her infertility issues, Selena Gomez put on a brave front as she attended the screening of her new film Emilia Perez on Monday.
The 32-year-old, recently dubbed billionaire, looked amazing on the red carpet in a black evening gown with sequins. She previously stated that she does not plan to become pregnant.
Jacques Audiard is the writer and director of Emilia Perez, a Spanish-language French musical criminal comedy film starring Zoe Saldana.
Despite her remarks that came to light the day of the premiere, Gomez seemed to be beaming for the cameras as she arrived.
“Unfortunately, I am unable to conceive.” Numerous health problems I have could endanger both my life and the lives of the unborn child. I had to mourn that for a while,’ she said to Vanity Fair.
Gomez received a kidney transplant in 2017 and is afflicted with lupus, an autoimmune condition. She also takes medicine to treat her bipolar disorder.
But with that, I’m in a far better place. “I consider it a blessing that there are amazing people open to adopting or surrogating, as these are two extremely viable options for me,” the woman remarked.
If Teefey hadn’t been adopted, I most likely wouldn’t be here. I have no idea how her life would have turned out. We both feel quite grateful for the way things has turned out.
Her devoted boyfriend Benny Blanco is on board, no matter what happens.
About a year ago, around the time her summer 2023 hit song, Single Soon, was released, Selena started dating the music producer.
The couple might be preparing to move forward at this point.
The matter was brought up by the host of The Howard Stern Show in May during an appearance.
Stern remarked, “You are some boyfriend, you’re knocking it out of the park,” upon discovering Blanco’s lavish Valentine’s Day present. It featured all of Gomez’s favourite munchies along with a private viewing of a movie.
The shock jock declared, “I see love here, and I’m predicting marriage.” “Both you and me,” Blanco answered.
The Emilia Perez star added, “He can’t lie,” to Vanity Fair for the cover story of the October 2024 issue.
Following the interview, I couldn’t stop laughing. Like, “Anything else you wanted to put out there?”‘
The musician of Calm Down claimed that she wasn’t pressuring Blanco to ask her out.
