On Friday, Selena Gomez dazzled in a gorgeous ensemble at the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival. 

The 31-year-old actress from Only Murders in the Building, who looked effortlessly stylish whilst shopping in the French city during the celebrations, was seen departing the Marriott hotel to go to her next location. 

The founder of Rare Beauty wore a figure-hugging, strapless navy dress with a plunging neckline on the front that clung to her body. 

The top of the ensemble featured a chic black trim, and the hem ended just a few inches above her ankles. 

Gomez also donned a pair of black Santoni heels with closed toes to match the colour palette of the ensemble. 

Her jet-black hair, parted in the centre, cascaded around her shoulders in graceful spirals.

Throughout the outing, Selena carried a little black purse with ease, holding a few necessities. 

She paired her dress with a stunning pair of silver earrings and a variety of big silver rings on each hand.  

The actress wore a glammed-up look that included light eyeshadow and a coat of mascara on her lashes. 

Her cheeks received a warm blush for a bright glow, and her lips were finished with a striking crimson colour. 

Gomez recently discussed how her relationship with cosmetics has changed over the years in an interview with Refinery29 that took place in April. 

It’s gotten more healthier as I’ve matured. She told the newspaper, “I used to want to wear makeup to look older or more like other people.” 

Currently, applying makeup on myself or my friends brings me a lot of joy. Rather than hiding my distinct qualities, I would like to highlight them. 

The former Disney Channel star was seen leaving the Marriott hotel in Cannes with a happy smile on her face. 

The stunning woman was also spotted descending an internal spiral staircase just before she left. 

The celebrity showcased her stylish sense earlier on Friday by dressing in a white, $495 knit dress with a peplum silhouette by Self-Portrait. 

Gomez did a little shopping in the city while sporting a chic handbag and a pair of shoes in black and white. 

She had tied her hair back into a tidy bun to keep any loose hair off her face. 

To shield her eyes from the intense sunlight, she wore white-rimmed sunglasses and a statement pair of gold earrings. 

Selena took to Instagram just before her participation at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, which concludes on May 25, to share a cute black and white photo of herself with boyfriend Benny Blanco. 

The record producer encircled the celebrity with his arms and gave her a tender kiss on the forehead as the actress wore a broad smile in the photo.
