Dwayne “The Rick” Johnson plays Mark Kerr, the UFC Hall of Famer, in the movie. Johnson appears in the teaser seated in the octagon, nearly unrecognisable without his trademark bald head and tattoos.
Since then, the hype for this upcoming film has gradually increased, reaching a peak, with MMA fans eagerly awaiting its release. This excitement extends to film enthusiasts, who are intrigued by the story of the two-time UFC heavyweight champion. UFC head honcho Dana White also joined in the excitement, as it’s the first time a UFC fighter’s biography has been adapted into a movie. He has also given his blessing to Dwayne Johnson, congratulating him on A24 Productions and their foreseen success. In a recent post on X, White wrote, “Congrats @TheRock It’s going to be an AWESOME move my brother.”
Another behind-the-scenes photo was recently posted on Reddit by a fan with the remark, “Mark Kerr with Dwayne Johnson, in prosthetics as Mark Kerr.” In comparison to the actual Mark Kerr, Johnson appears nearly unrecognisable in the picture due to his prosthetic limbs. Any fan would be able to twist their head around at the likeness. This was made clear by the admiration that followers of the Reddit post showed for Johnson’s commitment to the role in the upcoming sports drama film.

His first significant appearance on the big screen was a brief but unforgettable cameo in the “The Mummy” movie.
