Selena Gomez, who was “so depressed in her ‘It Girl era’ while dating Justin Bieber,” seems to be happy and content in recent photos with her boyfriend Benny Blanco.
The 32-year-old singer posted a series of photos and a video of herself cuddling with the 36-year-old music producer on Instagram early on Thursday morning.’
The slides appeared to be current as they continued to discuss romance, a topic that has gained attention in the media for almost a year.
In one of the shots, Benny cheekily put his hand on her as the happy couple huddled up over a gorgeous sunset vista by the water.
Selena playfully pushed her tongue out towards the camera while maintaining a carefree, cool expression while sporting a pink crewneck sweatsuit.
She wore minimal makeup to highlight her natural features, accessorising with dangling gold earrings and her brunette hair pulled back in a ponytail.
Benny wore a white button-down shirt with short sleeves while a film of the two embracing was playing.
The happy pair was spotted cuddling on a couch together in yet another adorable photo.
This occurs one week after the famous person revealed that during her “It Girl era,” she was “so depressed.”
The singer, 32, has been dating Benny since June 2023, and they are now contentedly settled.
She’s also thought back on how miserable her early years were, including being photographed by photographers when she was dating Justin Bieber.
In response to old footage of herself that was shared on social media, which showed her being photographed and posing with a fan, she spoke up about how she was feeling down at the time.
The caption for the TikTok video said, “I know and so do you that at the time she would never have gotten engaged to Benny (Blanco) (when) she was in her IT GIRL era.” The video was set to her ex Justin’s song Company.
The video also featured text stating that Selena’s previous self ‘would never date Benny Blanco.’
“Kinda makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol,” Selena responded.
After an eight-year relationship that ended in divorce in 2018, the singer married 27-year-old Hailey Bieber, with whom he is expecting his first child. Selena has not made any public remarks about their relationship.
In December, Selena expressed her admiration for Benny’s treatment of her online, writing, “He has treated me better than any human being on this planet.”
The performer stated to Time magazine that she is not “fazed” by her detractors’ “the most hurtful things.”
Benny gave her a jewel-encrusted necklace shaped like his first initial as a birthday present on her 32nd birthday.
In an Instagram picture, Selena displayed her $600 diamond-covered “B” necklace, a 14-karat gold necklace from the Los Angeles-based firm Baby Gold.
Benny made the following statement about the picture: “I got the hottest chick in the game wearing my chain,” alluding to a line from Jay-Z’s song “Public Service Announcement.”
