At the Wednesday premiere of her documentary My Mind & Me, in which she opens up about fame, her lupus diagnosis, and her issues with mental health, Selena Gomez exuded sophistication in a one-shoulder satin gown.

Upon her arrival at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for the American Film Institute Festival, the 30-year-old pop artist dazzled in her figure-hugging purple gown that flaunted her amazing proportions.

She completed her classic ensemble with a chic updo for her lush brown hair, a glittering silver purse, a pair of colourful drop earrings, and jewel-encrusted stilettos.  

The creator of Rare Beauty chose to wear a glossy nude lipstick, many coats of mascara, a dramatic metallic grey eyeshadow, and a hint of blush. 

The Grammy nominee, sporting bright orange nail polish, was spotted grinning broadly when she reconnected with Alek Keshishian, the director and producer of Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, following a series of solo photo shoots. 

The Wolves singer was hugged by Keshishian, 58, who filmed Gomez’s 2015 music video, Hands to Myself, while they conversed and took some pictures together on the red carpet.
