A new video featuring Taylor Swift using a fire extinguisher to put out a fire in her $50 million New York City residence was posted by her collaborator, Gracie Abrams.
The 34-year-old singer was pictured looking surprised when extinguisher fumes covered her opulent kitchen after a candle toppled down and started a small fire.
Dressed in a white dress, Taylor was seen reaching for the extinguisher as the puzzled celebrity exclaimed, “What do I do about this?” I believe we are going to perish!
After that, she sprayed the extinguisher, which scared her cats and left her stunned as the entire room filled with white vapours.
“Our purses, my shoes, and the entire room, I think,” Taylor remarked.
“It smells really good though,” Gracie continued.
“Writing this entire song from 2am to 6am was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life,” the post’s caption read. We now know how to utilise a fire extinguisher, thanks to @taylorswift. I cherish you.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Abrams disclosed earlier this week that she and Taylor had just completed a song called “Us” before the fire started.
After the lengthy songwriting session, the vocalists were having dinner and drinks “well past 6 am” when the fire started. Taylor quickly reached for a fire extinguisher and extinguished the flames.
She told the site, “She was such a legend—I don’t know how she knew what to do at this hour or in our state.”
The singer said, “We both had an insane cough from the fire extinguisher fumes for weeks.”
