In a light-hearted comment, Selena Gomez said that her first kiss with Dylan Sprouse, a fellow Disney star, was “one of the worst days of my life.”
Selena experienced her first kiss in 2006 while the two were filming The Suite Life of Zack and Cody for the Disney Channel.
She did, however, disclose that at the time, she was depressed because of her intense crush on Dylan’s twin brother Cole.
Selena, who had not yet begun to appear on Wizards of Waverly Place, her own Disney series, as Gwen, a classmate who was required to lock lips with the lead character in the school production.
“I guest starred on the show, but I kissed his brother and didn’t get to kiss Cole,” Selena recounted in a conversation with Kelly. That was my very first kiss.
Kelly Clarkson, the host of the show, then questioned the brunette beauty about whether or not it was her first kiss in general or just her first kiss on camera.
And Selena answered, “On camera!” One of the worst days of my life was that one.
Selena, meantime, has stated in the past that she “cannot be unauthentic.”
The number-one artist said that she was unable to compose a song that didn’t reflect who she was in real life. I created this song almost a year ago, Selena reflected, speaking about her track Lose You To Love Me, which focusses on her relationship tragedy. For me, it’s evidently a really sentimental song.
Seeing how far I’ve come from then to now is interesting. That’s exactly what I’ve always done—tell my narrative. I am unable to be dishonest. I have to stop acting like I’m not experiencing anything when I clearly have.
Selena believes her fans can identify to the single, which is allegedly about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
I hope that girls and guys everywhere can feel encouraged by this song, she continued. It’s one of those that I just feel is out, released. All of them have had that feeling.
