On Tuesday, August 6, the 35-year-old rapper and the 36-year-old founder of Fenty Beauty were spotted relaxing at the beach while on their most recent vacation to the latter’s native nation. Images of the couple laughing in their life jackets on an inflatable orange sofa suggest that they also enjoyed a pleasant voyage out on the water.

A day before to their daylight meeting, Rihanna wowed the crowds during her spectacular comeback to Barbados’ yearly Crop Over Festival. The hitmaker donned a unique winged Carnival costume that covered her entire body as she strolled through the streets during the St Michael festival, commonly known as the Grand Kadooment parade.

The striking feathery costume, complete with a headpiece that matched the gold and bronze gems, looked stunning against the singer’s chestnut hair and blonde highlights.

Last summer, while on vacation in Barbados with their 2-year-old son, RZA, Rihanna and Rocky were enjoying some quality time together as a family before the arrival of their second child, Riot Rose, on August 1, 2023. In further family vacation photos from that same month, Rihanna was seen eating snow cones outside her Barbados villa. The “Umbrella” singer was spotted looking pregnant at the time, showing off her baby bump with an undone pair of jean shorts and a black sports bra.

Rihanna has always maintained close ties to her home nation. The musician said in an interview with Interview Magazine for its April 2024 issue, “Home will always be Barbados. 100% of the time. I haven’t lost my citizenship throughout the years.”

After a few chic dates with boyfriend Rocky in New York City, Rihanna just returned home. The happy parents of two are taking pleasure in their love life after going out to numerous public events together, sources previously told PEOPLE in May.
