During her show in Hamburg, Germany on Tuesday, Taylor Swift thanked Flavor Flav, a fan who has been with her for a long time.
The 34-year-old singer of “Down Bad” saw the 65-year-old hip-hop star in one of the VIP boxes as she was leaving the crowd at the end of her show.
The Public Enemy rapper posted a video on Twitter of the singer pointing at him and saying, “FLAVOR FLAV!”
When the Flavor of Love star shared the video, he wrote, “It’s the guy from Public Enemy, also known as KING SWIFTIE, Coming straight to Germany to see me,!!!” He was in Europe for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Thanks again to @taylorswift13 @taylornation13 and her family and team for having me!!!
The singer shared another video of himself at the show, where he was seen holding a “King Swiftie” sign with pride.
In the caption, he wrote, “Ya boy appreciates the love and everything every Swiftie has ever given or sent me.”
He also sent out a video of himself in a big vehicle on his way to the show.
“I’m in Hamburg on my way to see my girlfriend Taylor Swift, who got the gift.” In the video, he said, “On my way, cutie!”
The rapper wore a blue and white t-shirt, a hat that matched, and sunglasses with white rims.
He also wore his trademark bejeweled clock chain with an American flag on it.
On Wednesday, the 24th, Taylor has another show in Hamburg. After that, she’ll go to Munich, where she will perform at the Olympiastadion on July 27th and 28th.
The singer talked about meeting Taylor at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February.
The “Fight the Power” star has shown his support for the pop star by going to many of her events over the years. At the Grammys, he was able to “get some Taylor time” and talked about what they talked about.
“The talk [at the Grammys] was about how proud I am of all her accomplishments.” Because I’m a big fan of hers, I’ll back her up. Getting her to say that her “Swifties” fans gave me a name, “King Swiftie,” Flav told People.
