Despite having collaborated with some of the biggest stars in music, Nelly Furtado still lists Taylor Swift as her ideal partner.

If Swift is interested, Furtado says she already has a song in mind for her seventh studio album, which is set to be released in September, as reported by TODAY.com.

It might not be hard to convince Swift to perform on the song, as the “Fortnight” singer recently declared her love for Furtado after they met by coincidence at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

In September of last year, Furtado posted a video of the behind-the scenes action on her TikTok channel.

In conversation with Hoda and Jenna, Furtado disclosed that her upcoming album, “7,” is scheduled for release on September 20. Her first album in seven years, the CD will only have 14 tracks on it, down from 500.

“It was very passionately done. I’m overjoyed. I’m ecstatic,” she exclaimed.

Furtado collaborated with her oldest daughter, who is currently employed in the music business, in yet another instance of life coming full circle.
