In the most recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, the former NFL player talked about witnessing the pop artist perform live with his wife Kylie.

Jason Kelce has joined the list of celebrities who have praised Taylor Swift for her London gigs, along with British aristocracy.

On the June 26 episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce and his brother Travis discussed their experiences going to Swift’s concerts across the pond, which Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie Kelce also attended.

“It was just amazing. Taylor is undoubtedly a phenomenal vocalist and songwriter, but it takes skill to be able to perform at that calibre in public. She spent maybe three and a half or four hours up there. As Travis Kelce said that she sang 45 songs, Jason Kelce enquired.

If he “did what she did for one song,” Jason Kelce said, he would have had to change into new clothes.

“Dude, I’m sick of these drinks and still have Taylor singing! This is incredible,” Jason Kelce continued. “It was an amazing experience, but now I can’t feel my hand since all of these friendship bracelets are choking off my circulation. It’s obvious that the Swifties make it a really special occasion.”

After that, the former Philadelphia Eagles player talked about two highlights from the performance. The first was when Swift gave a young fan her hat during her song “22.”

“Hell no, I’ve never cried at an f—— performance, but I was crying the whole time I was watching this little girl… “I’m going to cry now,” declared Jason Kelce. “It was f—— so special.”

He continued by saying how much he enjoyed the performance’s acoustic set.

“Dude, she’s got a guitar, ninety thousand people, and her.” She does have some support, as seen by the 90,000 people singing the tune, according to Jason Kelce. “She seems to be flowing through the songs, occasionally mixing in with the piano.

“To be good in front of 90,000 people with just that, I think you have to be amazing,” he said. “She clearly wrote and produced the songs, therefore the first requirement is that you have to have amazing tunes and lyrics. Second, to be able to carry out those tasks without any assistance and without hiding anything else. For me, that was the high point of the evening.”

He summed up: “You’re (with) 90,000 people, but for some reason it feels like you’re in a pub just listening to somebody play on a piano.”The brothers talked about highlights from the shows that went viral, such meeting Prince William and Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and Jason Kelce holding a beer between his teeth.

“People don’t realise that you can do anything with your teeth,” stated Jason Kelce. “The majority of animals use them in this manner—they carry them in their jaws. Therefore, I’m simply going back to my pre-opposable thumb evolution feature.”

Speaking on his encounter with Prince William, Jason Kelce claimed that while he had never felt less of a man, “that was the closest I’ve ever been.”

“The important thing to remember is that they were amazing individuals. They literally belong to a monarchy, royalty, as you can see,” remarked Jason Kelce. It must be difficult to be a normal human being. but gave off that impression entirely.”

The brothers also gave Prince William credit for his parenting methods.

“Prince William was amazing, but Princess Charlotte stole the show. Prince George was also excellent, according to Jason Kelce. “She was really, really cute… Perhaps because I now have three girls, I’m not sure. She was asking questions and exuded energy. The most electrifying element was that.

The former NFL player talked about Travis Kelce’s increased notoriety after dating the multiple Grammy winner in the past. He described how things have gone “to another level” as a result of his brother and Swift’s romance as “crazy.”

On June 7, Jason Kelce stated, “That’s a whole other side of it,” on the podcast “Whisky Ginger.” “Kylie and I go hang out with one of them for a little while after thinking we have it bad. This is a completely different circumstance. At that moment, you cannot be a normal person.

 

The father of three further mentioned that Kylie Kelce was feeling “a little bit uncomfortable” about the increased attention their family was receiving since the 2023 release of their Prime Video documentary “Kelce.”

“People know what our kids look like; our family is out there,” he remarked. We have made some attempts to backtrack from it.
