Dwayne Johnson has not only excelled admirably in his endeavours to try his hand at wrestling and business, but he has also achieved remarkable success in the entertainment industry.

In addition to being the star of the beloved Jumanji remake saga and a member of the Fast and Furious film franchise, he has made a notable attempt at acting in a superhero picture, portraying Black Adam in the DCEU.

.

However, The Rock is not finished yet, as the most recent exclusive reports suggest he may also end up joining the MCU very soon. Furthermore, Mike Tyson believes that En Sabah Nur is the “best hero” in the entire MCU canon, and he is rumoured to play this character.

However, if these rumours are accurate, Johnson might potentially revive Tyson’s favourite MCU character!

This Villain Is Mike Tyson’s “Best Hero” From Marvel

The X-Men saga’s Apocalypse, also known as En Sabah Nur, is a villain from the Marvel Comics Universe (MCU) who American professional boxer Mike Tyson is genuinely in complete awe of. Tyson will be making his comeback to the ring in less than two decades after retiring in 2005.

The 57-year-old boxer, who is a fan favourite, voiced the same thing during his meeting with the late legend Stan Lee. Lee apparently used to send books from the MCU to Tyson when he was in prison since he understood his affinity for this one villain.

In a previous video that reappeared after @comicsandcaviar posted it on Instagram, Tyson is heard offering his interpretation of the character, saying:

Who is Apocalypse’s creator? My best hero is that. Actually, he’s not a bad guy. He states, “I am not malevolent,” with this phrase. I simply am! Correct?

In addition, Mike Tyson mentioned how much he has admired the antagonist and disclosed that he had spent his entire childhood “watching Marvel’s comics,” saying:

I must have first watched [En Sabah Nur] when you were watching the Phoenix Saga, an X-Men series. And he came out and exclaimed, “Oh my God, a guy like that blew my mind.” You know, so haughty, so deep, yet so articulate?
As his remarks make clear, Tyson has become so enamoured of this one mutant villain from the X-Men universe that he can ostensibly talk about him incessantly for the rest of his life.

Nevertheless, according to recent sources, Dwayne Johnson might revive this role.

Dwayne Johnson Has the Potential to Resurrect Mike Tyson’s Favourite “Hero”

As fans are already aware, Oscar Isaac played this mutant adversary flawlessly in the 2016 live-action film X-Men: Apocalypse, despite the fact that the character’s physical attributes fell short of fans’ expectations.

He hasn’t exactly been solicited for a live-action role since then.

That was until rumours began to circulate that En Sabah Nur would also be making a comeback in the X-Men reboot that was purportedly set to take place in the MCU. Furthermore, The Rock is purportedly the one chosen for this position, citing @MyTimeToShineH on X (via @update_marvel/X).

Furthermore, Johnson’s production business has inked a multi-year deal with Disney, which will enable them to work with all Disney divisions, including Marvel Studios, according to the most recent exclusive revelations from Variety.

Nevertheless, following the DCEU, there is a greater likelihood than ever that The People’s Champ will collaborate with the MCU, increasing the possibility that he may emerge as the next En Sabah Nur and revive Tyson’s “best hero” from the MCU.

Disney+ offers X-Men: Apocalypse for streaming in the interim.
