The singer’s boyfriend Travis Kelce also made an unexpected debut in London, so the bug she ingested wasn’t the only unexpected visitor.

During the concert, he joined the backing dancers of the vocalist to help with a wardrobe change.

Since 2020’s Folklore, this was Swift’s first album to top the charts for the first three weeks of its release.

Overall, among Swift’s 11 albums, The Tortured Poet’s Department is the sixth to peak at number one on the album charts.

During the third week of The Tortured Poets Department’s release, which concluded on May 9, fans purchased 282,000 album equivalent copies.

With the album sales, Swift achieved her highest third-week sales since 2022’s Midnights (299,000 in November 2022), despite a 36% decrease from the prior week.

Track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA) make up album equivalent units.

She also surpasses Elvis Presley’s 67 weeks to extend her record for the most weeks at number one by a solo artist on the album charts to 72.

A staggering 14 tracks from the album made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts when it was released on April 19.
