5 Films That Raked in Unbelievable Wealth for Dwayne Johnson

If you intentionally searched for Dwayne Johnson films on Google, you are already familiar with The Rock—the man, the myth, and the legend. Furthermore, don’t you find it amusing that Amazon sells personalised rock glasses bearing that saying? (Do you understand? Rocks, glass, The Rock, HA!) Oh, please excuse my cheesy sense of humour. Still, I’m assuming you don’t need an introduction to the man and that you’re here to see a list of the greatest Dwayne Johnson films. I understand. The Rock films should receive due credit and have their own online list.

It’s true that Dwayne is a highly talented actor. He can be seen in films as an assassin in The Scorpion King, a seductive lifeguard in Baywatch, and, yes, a tooth fairy in Tooth Fairy. The Rock, who the heck knows, is going to play a villain, an antihero, or both in the next Dwayne Johnson film Black Adam. Maybe the director does, but we won’t know until later in October. Is there a role that Dwayne is unable to perform? I seriously doubt it.
Even while The Rock is a terrific performer in his own right and nothing compares to films with him, there’s one more powerful actor combination that never fails to make audiences laugh uncontrollably. It’s the legendary team of Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. The Rock and Kevin Hart films that stand out the most are Central Intelligence and the Jumanji sequels. But in addition to having the ideal chemistry on screen, Johnson and Hart also have one of the greatest friendships in Hollywood in real life. Imagine working on a movie with your closest friend. That’s a dream, not a job, oh boy!

A comprehensive list of Dwayne Johnson’s films has been assembled below, with each film listed from “a little less good” to “the best” (come on, this is Dwayne, I won’t call any of his films the “worst”). Let’s close this overly drawn-out introduction to the list with a fierce quotation from The Rock: “Don’t knock on opportunity’s door; walk right up to it.” Smiling, kick that ass in, and make your introduction.” Enjoy this compilation of Dwayne Johnson’s greatest films!#1

Moana

Moana

2016 | 1 hour 47 minutes | Directed by Ron Clements, John Musker, Don Hall Starring (voice) Dwayne Johnson, Auli’i Cravalho, Rachel House Moana is a throwback to Disney’s classic formula, complete with clichés and characters plucked from various other animated films. The production’s sheer beauty and skill, on the other hand, elevates the old story to new heights. Easily among the best from the Disney Studio and a worthy successor to Mulan (1998). Also, perhaps one of Dwayne Johnson’s best works, despite his not being the first name that comes to mind when we think of “voice acting.”

The Rundown

The Rundown

2003 | 1 hour 44 minutes | Directed by Peter Berg Starring Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Christopher Walken An absolute smash for The Rock, in which he got to use every WWE trick he had in the book. The result: The Rundown. Playing a bounty hunter is definitely a good role for him, and, oh boy, he doesn’t play around. Although The Rundown is a PG-13 action film, it plays like an R-rated action film. It’s excellent and will not disappoint any action fans who believe the genre has been lacking in recent years.

#3

Walking Tall

Walking Tall

2004 | 1 hour 26 minutes | Directed by Kevin Bray Starring Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Scott, Johnny Knoxville Walking Tall is a remake of a 1973 based-on-fact film about a man who becomes sheriff and wages war on the bad guys in his town to fight corruption. The action scenes are well-crafted and provide a strong link to the plot. Unlike those in The Rock’s previous films, the fight scenes are more traditional and

Fast & Furious 6

Fast & Furious 6

2013 | 2 hours 10 minutes | Directed by Justin Lin Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson

What-a-combo. Three, actually four, let’s not forget Michelle Rodriguez, megastars in one action-driven film. How many franchises can claim to be at their peak on their sixth outing? But that’s precisely where the Fast & Furious crew is with this pure adrenaline rush. When we thought it would be difficult to top the jaw-dropping finale of Fast Five, director Justin Lin demonstrates that he has saved his best for last, as far as his directing for the franchise goes. Six films into the Fast & Furious franchise, the motto is “bigger, faster, and crazier.” Prepare to be blown away by it. If you thought the action, scale, and stunts in Fast Five were out of this world, wait until you see Fast & Furious 6. realistic in appearance. That being said, action junkies will find plenty to enjoy here. With The Rock getting his hands dirty and guns aplenty, there’s something for everyone.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle

2017 | 1 hour 59 minutes | Directed by Jake Kasdan Starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart The iconic Dwayne and Kevin duo is back. This is perhaps one of the best and most entertaining action-adventure movies for various reasons. First of all, the casting. This cast is incredibly well-balanced. The group dynamics are excellent, and they’re all having hilarious back-and-forths. Dwayne Johnson’s comedic abilities are on full display in this film. While he gets a few scenes to show off his WWE maneuvers, most of his role is comedy-heavy, which he excels at. Kevin Hart plays the always hilarious comedic relief and does a fantastic job of making the audience laugh their butts off.
