When Taylor Swift started the Sao Paulo leg of her Eras Tour concerts in Brazil on Friday, she addressed her fans an emotional farewell.

Taylor Swift, the 33-year-old pop superstar who is spending Christmas with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, gestured to the crowd with her hands in the shape of a heart one week after the tragic death of a fan at her Rio de Janeiro show.
The star dazzled in a rhinestone-studded bodysuit and knee-high boots, flaunting her muscles in front of the gathered crowd.
On the first day of her performances in Sao Paulo, she surprised everyone by performing the 1989 song “Now That We Don’t Talk.”
The second surprising song was “Innocent” by Speak Now.
The star looked amazing in a rhinestone-adorned bodysuit and matching knee-high boots.
Her blonde hair was worn straight down for the show.
One of her other amazing looks from the presentation was a shimmering silver fringe dress.
She also wore a stunning yellow outfit during another part of the presentation.
Taylor played live, strumming a guitar with the number 13 and silver rhinestones on it.
This weekend marks the start of Taylor’s final leg of her 2023 Eras Tour in the Brazilian city. Ana Clara Benevides Machado, 23, passed away, and the cause of her death is currently under investigation by the authorities.
Locals claim that Machado passed away on November 17 during the performance due to heat exhaustion from the stadium’s temperatures, which rose above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serafim Abreu, the CEO of Time For Fun and a Brazilian producer of the event, posted a video statement on Instagram on Thursday in Portuguese, addressing the loss.
“We acknowledge that, in addition to everything we have done, there are some other actions we could have taken,” Abreu remarked.
Sadly, we experienced a fatality for the first time in almost 40 years of operation. Despite the rapid care and all the efforts made by the medical staff at the event and at the hospital, we are completely crushed and profoundly saddened by the loss of young Ana Clara.
Swift released a statement expressing her sorrow over Benevides’ passing and her sympathies to the young girl’s family after learning of the tragedy while performing.
We lost a fan earlier tonight before my event, and I say this with a broken heart—I can’t believe I’m writing this. After the show, Swift posted a message on Instagram, saying, “I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by by this.”
She said, “I don’t know much about her other than the fact that she was extremely young and beautiful.”
“When I even try to talk about this, I get so overcome with grief that I won’t be able to do it from the stage.”
I want to express that I am truly saddened by her passing and that her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
When we made the decision to bring the performance to Brazil, I never imagined anything like this would occur.
Estela Benevides, Benevides’ cousin, and Brazilian media both claim that Benevides suffered from a heart attack.
The little fan was not able to be revived despite the efforts of the on-site doctors.
She was brought to the Salgado Filho Municipal Hospital, but she passed away quickly.
After taking a winter vacation, Taylor will continue her tour in February 2024. She currently has three gigs remaining at the Allianz Parque in Brazil.
