During a regular visit to the doctor, a pregnant Swiftie received some great news: her daughter appears to be a fan of Taylor Swift as well!

During her 12-week ultrasound, Marie Smith noticed a telltale indication of her unborn child’s musical preferences. Her child’s hands were clenched into a heart shape, identical to the well-known motion Swift performs on stage.

The 27-year-old tells PEOPLE that when she first saw her daughter’s pose in the sonogram, she was astounded by what she saw. As a matter of fact, she didn’t say anything until the ultrasound technician pointed it out.

“Oh my God, I’m so happy you brought this up,” I exclaimed. I wanted to confirm that this was what I was seeing. Smith, whose daughter is expected in October, says, “But I’m the biggest Taylor Swift fan, so I was sitting here dying and I’m so glad you said it.”

The mother, who lives in Baltimore, most definitely meets the profile of Swift’s biggest admirer. Smith has followed Swift through every stage of her career since the country-turned-pop singer’s debut album landed when she was in the seventh grade.

Smith, who is already a mother to Nashton, 17, went to Pittsburgh last summer with her 8-year-old cousin to witness The Eras Tour. She tells PEOPLE that in order to afford to attend the historic event, she worked a second job and saved money for months.

Facebook people praised Smith in the comments section and encouraged her to post the ultrasound results on other social media sites. In a single day, her TikTok video received 23,600 likes.

When the album was out in 2008, she added, “Raising my baby girl right,” next to a collage of the ultrasound and Swift holding up hearts during her Fearless period.

Once again, the horde of admirers for the “Cruel Summer” singer expressed their gratitude in the comments.

One individual remarked, “As an ultrasound tech, finding this is my new career goal.”
