The recently released free-to-play platform combatant MultiVersus isn’t afraid to light a friendly fire by making jokes about DC’s actors and characters. The game mockingly parodies Dwayne Johnson’s widely-repeated comment that “the hierarchy of power in the DC universe is about to change,” which is a funny reference to DC Comics’ 2022 box office woes through the movie Black Adam.

Joker is shown conversing with Black Adam in a gaming footage, asking him pointed questions like, “Weren’t you supposed to be rearranging the hierarchy or something?” This alludes to The Rock’s vigorous campaign to elevate the character to the position of main character in the previous Dceu.
