The highly anticipated movie trailer for Blake’s adaptation of Colleen’s book dropped last week.

The author has already faced criticism for romanticising domestic abuse in her book and for releasing a colouring book and nail polish that were drawn inspiration from it.

Blake, 36, portrays Lily Bloom, a woman who, prior to the return of her ex-boyfriend Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar, 32), embarks on a passionate, abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni, 40).
