She and the curly-haired beauty have been friends since high school, and she even paid tribute to their freshman year in 2009 with her popular song Fifteen.
It makes sense, then, that Taylor Swift was the life of the party at her best friend Abigail Anderson’s wedding on Saturday, which took place at the breathtaking Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
At the colorful wedding, which took place on the well-known island just south of Cape Cod, the 27-year-old—who earlier this week released the revenge hit Look What You Made Me Do—looked absolutely lovely in a halterneck maroon gown as she attended to her blonde pal.

Performing her job: It’s understandable that Taylor Swift was the life of the party at her closest friend Abigail Anderson’s wedding on Saturday, which took place at the breathtaking Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
Taylor looked stunning in her floor-length gown, which hugged to her slim figure and cut into a traditional sweetheart neckline before softly falling into an A-line skirt.
Taylor maintained the same color scheme from head to toe, pairing the dress’ shade with a striking wine-colored lipstick. She accessorized the look with loose curls, a subtle smoky eye, and beautiful makeup.
The country singer, however, made sure that all eyes were on the gorgeous bride Abigail as she carried her voluminous train into the church and did her bridesmaid duties, accessorizing minimally with a plain silver pendant.

Ready for fall: Taylor looked effortlessly stunning in her floor-length gown – which cut into a classic sweetheart neckline and clung to her slender frame
Meanwhile Abigail certainly stole the show in her elaborate bridal gown, which went against tradition with its off-white and pale pink hue.
The dress pulled into a gorgeous strapless neckline, before it perfectly hugged her slim frame all the way down with its delicate white lace pattern.
Making more of a statement, the bridal gown then expanded into a dramatic fishnet bottom of bold pink tulle – which was so voluminous it required Taylor’s help to carry.
Completing her stunning look, Abigail added a long cream veil, patterned with matching lace flowers, to her classy curled up-do, and clasped onto a bouquet of pink and maroon flowers, as she headed inside to say ‘I do’.

Teamwork: The bridal gown then enlarged into a spectacular fishnet bottom of vivid pink tulle, making a bigger impression. It was so voluminous that Taylor had to assist with carrying it.
Andrea, Taylor’s mother, who attended the wedding as well, looked as elegant in a black knee-length dress and matching shawl. The two had been friends since their high school years.
Taylor spent a weekend at the wedding with her family and friends, and she seemed perfectly at peace. This was following the release of the music video for the first single off her new album, Look What You Made Me Do, which was fairly controversial.
Though it has caused some controversy, the song has already become extremely popular. In just its first week, it soared to the top of the UK chart with 30,000 downloads and 5.3 million plays.
The new song had a much darker, edgier vibe to it. Swift looked angry while wearing all black, and the lyrics purportedly poked fun at Tom Hiddleston, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Kanye West.
Amazing: To top off her exquisite appearance, Abigail wore a beautiful cream veil adorned with matching lace flowers over her elegant curled up hairstyle. She carried the veil with a bunch of maroon and pink flowers as she made her way inside to exchange vows.
Taylor once appeared in character as Katy, complete with her signature leopard print and a cropped wig that resembled Perry’s old hairdo.
As photographers snap her picture, the Perry figure is seen going into a serious vehicle crash.
The line “her unnamed rival ‘locked me out and threw a feast'” (from Perry’s second verse) seems to be a reference to Katy Perry’s song Bon Appetit.
The line “They once belonged to me” appears in the second verse as well, and it is believed to refer to her and Perry’s disagreement regarding their tour dancers.
In the video, Taylor also seemed to be making fun of Kim when she talked about her enemy’s “perfect crime” and was lying in a bathtub full of diamond diamonds.
Supporters surmise that the songbird was making a reference to Kim’s horrific October jewel heist in Paris.
As she concludes her tirade, Taylor is accompanied by backup dancers wearing ‘I Heart Taylor Swift’ t-shirts, which were notably donned by her ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston in July of last year.
The first track from her upcoming sixth studio album, Reputation, is available now. It will be available on November 10th.
Though she has a busy schedule at work, she also made a contribution to Hurricane Harvey victims just before attending the wedding.
