Everyone is now certain that Taylor Swift will make a surprise appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine as Dazzler. Of course, her presence at Super Bowl LVIII with Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and director Shawn Levy just fueled the rumors.

Even though we won’t find out for sure until the movie opens in theaters in June, a recent rumor indicates that Taylor Swift may play an MCU character in the future.

Industry insider Daniel RPK claims that Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, has visited with pop sensation. It’s unknown when they met, but the main objective was to talk about her future involvement in the MCU.

Thus, if she were indeed portraying Dazzler, perhaps the purpose of this discussion was to discuss potential future role expansion. Or she could have had a meeting with Feige to talk about a completely other role. It wouldn’t be the first time someone appeared in many MCU roles, after all. Ask Gemma Chan or Benedict Cumberbatch, for example.

Now, Swift wouldn’t be the first iconic character to appear in the MCU. We are aware that Harry Styles’ Starfox is someplace after the Eternals. Somewhere on Earth, Meghan Thee Stallion is most likely having cocktails with She-Hulk as well. Sadly, we’ll just have to find out.
