Taylor Swift was back on stage for the second night at the Paris La Defense Arena in France on Friday. She had more treats for the crowd.
The 34-year-old global superstar made fans go crazy on Thursday night when her £1.4 billion Eras Tour came back with a new set list and costumes to go with her brand-new record, The Tortured Poets Department.
Fans will have to guess each night which songs the singer will play since she debuted more new songs during the three-hour show. She has more than 30 songs to choose from.
In 1989, Taylor wore a sparkly orange crop top and purple skirt that went together and showed off her toned body.
While putting on a high-energy show, the star wowed everyone with her outfit, which included a pair of orange and purple boots that matched.
In another place, she looked stunning in a gold mini dress that sparkled. She wore it with gold cowboy boots that sparkled and a guitar that sparkled too.
As she knelt by the stage to talk to a young fan, she also showed off a new Red 22 T-shirt that said, “I Bet You Think About Me?”
Like she always does, Taylor played more new songs from her most recent album. She sang “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” and a mix of “Is It Over Now?” and “Out of the Woods” for her fans.
Taylor always pays attention to the little things. She walked out in a Vivienne Westwood white tulle dress with a corseted bodice, dramatic hip drapes, and the words “I love you, it’s ruining my life” written in her own handwriting down the skirt.
She put on a white trench coat that matched before singing “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” a song from her new album about her relationship with Matty Healy.
She played the princess in a beautiful lilac dress for “Enchanted,” which is the only song from her album Speak Now that she is currently playing.
Fans were thrilled about the packed show again, and they shared their happiness on Twitter.
One person wrote, “These are her best tour clothes so far!” “BRING ME BACK TO THE WORLD TOUR IN 1989.”
Someone else wrote about her bright red floaty outfit, “I LOVE the green dress but I NEED this one.” Oh no, Taylor lol’
Someone else asked, “Did I really experience it? Is it over now? Oh, and my boy only breaks his favorite toys live?” Is this a dream? I need your help because that was surprise songs’ finest hour.
“Excuse me, but I will NEVER get over the fact that I took pictures of Taylor Swift in Paris,” wrote someone else. “Like THE Taylor Swift” and “Please take me back.”
“Our surprise songs tonight—is it over now mashup with Out of the Woods, then my boy!!!” we won! night 2 wins’; “LITERALLY WHAT IS LIFE RN, THAT WAS A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE”; “really won’t get over this #ParisTSTheErasTour.”
Taylor is going to play four huge shows at the Paris venue. After that, he is going to Stockholm, Lisbon, Madrid, and Lyon, and then he will be in the UK.
She cut a lot of her favorite songs from her three-hour set list to make room for songs from her new record, The Tortured Poets Department.
Fans are upset about the changes, which swap hits like “Tolerate It,” “Long Live,” “The Archer,” and “The 1” with songs from her most recent album, which got mixed reviews.
Someone wrote, “Woke up to the worst news that Taylor Swift has taken Long Live off her set.” Last month, I walked down the aisle to that song. I ask that you do it in London.
Someone else said, “I don’t like how Taylor cut songs from Evermore to make room for songs from her new album.”
‘The Eras’ is expected to make around $1.4 billion from ticket sales, making it the most profitable tour ever. It would beat Sir Elton John’s long goodbye tour, which lasted several years and made around $939 million.
Travis Kelce, Taylor’s boyfriend, got ready to make his acting debut hours before the show aired. He was filming for the new Ryan Murphy horror show Grotesquerie.
On his way to set, the 34-year-old NFL star wore all white and held a script in his hand.
