Taylor Swift’s two-year global tour has returned after the release of her most recent album, Tortured Poets Department. The European leg of the tour kicked off in Paris.
Numerous events have been conducted since Swift’s Eras Tour began in March of last year.
After all this time, fans have developed a wealth of knowledge about the outfits and set list of the tour.
Occasionally, she will add “surprise songs” to her repertoire, but these are only very small adjustments made live.
She has also worn the same costume in several different ways.
Overall though, the shows have remained largely the same each time.
Still, as this was her first show since Tortured Poets Department, there was much speculation as to how it would be different from her previous ones.
So the main event of the evening was the performance that took place last night at the La Defense Arena in the French capital.
Swift was dressed in a white outfit covered with song lyrics from Tortured Poets Department, which was constructed of structured fabric that looked like pieces of paper.
On stage, she changed into a different costume for her show.
Swift flashed her sparkling black two-piece by taking off the white dress and throwing on a gold blazer.
That was something never before seen on stage.
Standard outfits, however, were also altered; for example, the colors of the Lover bodysuit and the lettering on the T-shirt she wears when performing the song 22.
The prior message on that shirt said, “WHO’S TAYLOR SWIFT ANYWAY? “EW.” said “There’s no way we’re getting back together.”
