Insiders say Kim Kardashian was shocked by the “brutal” response she got when she criticized Tom Brady live on Netflix. The reality star was upset by the sheer number of boos. 

The crowd at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday night trolled Kim, 43, when she took the stage to roast the NFL champion for The Greatest Roast of All Time, which was shown live on the streaming service that same night.

As Kim spoke to the crowd with a glass of champagne in her hand, she tried to make a joke about host Kevin Hart’s height, but she was heavily booed, and Hart seemed to step in to calm things down.

An insider told DailyMail.com, “Kim thought she would get some jokes and maybe some backlash because there are always haters, but this was way more than she ever expected.” “It threw her off and caught her off guard.”

“She tried to not care because it was a roast, but she didn’t like the boos.” It made her angry, but now that it’s been a day or two, she’s okay with it. But Sunday night was terrible and really shook her up.

People were rude to her right after she started making jokes on stage by telling Kevin, “I know a lot of people make fun of your height.”

Kim looked surprised at the response and then tried to get the crowd to calm down by yelling, “Alright, alright, alright.”

The boos wouldn’t stop, so Kevin stepped in to try to calm things down. He could be heard saying, “Woah, woah, woah,” off-screen.

Another person who watched the show said that the yelling was even louder inside, and some people yelled “Aimee” during her set as a reference to Taylor Swift’s song “THANK YOU aIMee,” which is thought to be about her fight with Kim.

The source said, “The number of boos Kim got was even worse inside the building; the TV show didn’t pick up the worst of it.”

“Thank You, Aimee” cheers were heard. Some people didn’t like that she was there, and every time someone made fun of her, it was one of the funniest things that happened that night.

Three people who were there said, “This was live, which made it worse.” She can’t take anything out like she could on the TV show.

 TikTok users shared videos from inside the event, and people were quick to share their thoughts online.

“I can’t believe Kim Kardashian got booed at the Tom Brady Roast,” one person wrote.

Someone else said, “THEY JUST BOOOED KIM KARDASHIAN BEFORE SHE EVEN SAID A WORD LMFAO.”

“Bill Belichick gets a standing ovation and Kim Kardashian gets booed,” said a third. The best thing Netflix has ever made is the roast of Tom Brady.

‘She wasn’t letting herself be fazed,’ said another person close to Kim. 

Even though people booed her at Monday night’s Met Gala, Kim seemed to not care. She was also praised for her “funny” speech in which she hinted at rumors she had been seeing Tom.

She told him, “I’m really here tonight for Tom.” “I wasn’t planning to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, I might still.”

Recently, Kim was linked to NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. She talked about her sex tape with Ray-J from 2007 and said, “I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not—I’d just release a tape.”

In it, she also talked about Caitlyn Jenner, who is married to her mother Kris Jenner now.

Kim said, “I know it would never have worked out.” “An ex-athlete with high cheekbones and smooth hair…” Now you make me think of my stepdad too much.

Not only did she make fun of Tom, but other comics, like Tony Hinchcliffe, made fun of her too and told her to “close your legs.”

Tony, who is 39 years old, talked about Will Ferrell’s appearance as Ron Burgundy at the comedy show. In the 2004 movie Anchorman, Burgundy said, “Germans found it in 1904 and named it San Diego, which of course in German means “a whale’s vagina.”

As an aside, Tony said, “A whale’s vagina.” Kim Kardashian is here, and a lot of black guys are celebrating her touchdown.

I have more public beef with Kim than with Kendrick and Drake. Close your legs, girl.”

When Tom answered, he also made fun of Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West and her four kids like everyone else.

He said, “I know Kim was scared to be here tonight.” “Not because of this, but because her kids are with their dad at home.”

Kim and the rapper have four children together: daughters North, 10, Chicago, 6, and boys Saint, 8, and Psalm, 4. She was seen shaking her head at the comment and finding it hard to smile as the crowd cheered her on.
