HISTORICAL FRANCHISE
Since the first Fast & Furious movie, Vin has been a mainstay. The ninth episode of the franchise was released earlier this summer.
A year after its scheduled release, the highly anticipated action movie was shelved because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic.
Variety claims that the film’s release was postponed three times.
The nineth installment of the franchise was supposed to hit theaters in the summer of 2020; however, the April 2 and May 28 release dates in 2021 were also canceled.
Along with Michelle Rodriguez, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel, the movie also includes John Cena, who was confirmed to have joined the cast in 2019.
The WWE star is the next big thing in the career of actor-turned-wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who made his series debut in Fast Five in 2011 and went on to become a significant character.
The Rock later made an appearance in Hobbs & Shaw, a spin-off of the main franchise starring Jason Statham.
NEW WORK
The California native wore a pair of cream board shorts last year, highlighting his 2011 video game Barca BC underpants, as he posed shirtless for a picture.
He was holding onto a surfboard and staring off into the distance when he wrote, “We will find a way, or we will make one… Barca BC #hannibalbarcatrilogy” as the description for the photo.
The actor, whose true name is Mark Sinclair, seemed to be teasing Hannibal The Conqueror, his upcoming motion picture, once more.
Vin stated in July of last year that he was planning to take up the trilogy concerning the military commander of Carthage.
The action actor claimed in an interview with Comicbook.com that he has been dreaming of playing Hannibal for almost ten years. Hannibal was the leader of an army that crossed the Alps in 218 BC, including elephants, to fight Rome.
