Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriends are moving on too, while she enjoys her new romance and musical phase.

Taylor Swift's ex Joe Alwyn is reportedly 'dating and happy' amid the release of her 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department

The Grammy Award winner’s ex-husband Joe Alwyn is reportedly “dating and happy,” according to a People source, while her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, is being released.

Alwyn has since reportedly banned any questions about the album and his relationship with Swift from the upcoming press tour for his movie Kinds of Kindness

The insider claimed, “He’s a great guy and not into drama in any way,” adding that Alwyn, 33, has “moved on” from Swift, 34.

The source claimed that he “certainly doesn’t talk poorly about her” and that “it just didn’t work out” after their six-year romance ended last year.

‘Doing well’ and ‘focused on work’ describe Alwyn. Joe enjoys performing, but he finds the attention that goes along with it too much, the insider said. He feels awkward being in the spotlight.

Previously, a source told DailyMail.com that Swift seemed to target Alwyn on several tracks from TTPD, leaving him “slightly disappointed, but not surprised at all.”

After TTPD dropped this month, Swift shared a statement about letting go of the 'sensational and sorrowful' time that inspired the album

They said, “There has been zero communication between them at all.” “He did not expect her to run these songs by him, but she did not.”

“She didn’t really trash him or defame him,” the insider continued. Joe won’t respond to this in any way.

Since then, there have apparently been no queries from the impending Kinds of Kindness press tour on the record or his relationship with Swift.

In the Yorgos Lanthimos-directed movie, Swift’s friend Emma Stone co-stars with the British actor.

Between 2017 to 2023, Swift dated Alwyn; during that period, the 14-time Grammy winner largely avoided the limelight.

Under the alias William Bowery, he co-wrote and co-produced numerous tracks on Folklore, for which they shared a 2021 Grammy for Album of the Year.

A year later, the duo received another nomination for Evermore for the same honor.

Swift released an announcement last month regarding the passing of the “sensational and sorrowful” period that served as the inspiration for the album, TTPD.

“This phase of the writer’s life has concluded, with the chapter sealed and sealed,” the author penned. Once wounds have healed, there is nothing to settle scores or exact revenge on.

Swift said, “And after more thought, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted.”
