Why Taylor Swift Has Found the One in Joe Alwyn

Nevertheless, Taylor appears to have opened up about their breakup on her most recent album, which was released last Friday. According to insiders, Joe is ‘disappointed’ and has forbidden any reference to the singer from the forthcoming press tour for his upcoming movie, Kinds of Kindness.

“They haven’t communicated at all,” an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com. He wasn’t expecting her to run these tunes by him, but she didn’t.

'Joe has listened to the album, and he is slightly disappointed, but not surprised at all,' a source told DailyMail.com

After listening to the CD, Joe is a little let down but not shocked at all.

She didn’t truly disparage or discredit him. Joe won’t respond to this in any way.

Joe has never discussed his relationship with Taylor, whose new album appears to accuse him of cheating and shattering her dreams of marriage and children

During her relationship with Joe, Taylor, who is currently dating NFL champion Travis Kelce, largely avoided the spotlight and was rarely seen in public with her ultra private partner.

Joe, going by the alias William Bowery, co-wrote and co-produced several tunes on her album Folklore, which led to them winning a Grammy for Album of the Year in 2021.

A year later, they were again nominated for Evermore for the same prize.

The source clarified that because of the songs they had written together, Joe was well acquainted of Taylor’s songwriting process.

The insider continued, “Taylor draws on her relationships for almost all of her songs and he admires her artistry.”

“He is appreciative that their relationship also contributed to his becoming well-known,” adding, “He has made a great deal of money off the six songs he wrote for Taylor in the past.”

Taylor Swift's ex Joe Alwyn has 'BANNED any questions about their romance' during upcoming press tour after she savaged him in The Tortured Poets Department - as insiders reveal what he really

Taylor’s album is out two months before Kinds of Kindness, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, which stars Joe and Oscar winner Emma Stone as her romantic partners.

“He is focused on a movie that is coming out,” the person said. He won’t be answering any questions from Taylor; instead, he will be handling publicity.

Joe has moved on. He has no ill will against her for the things that she does. He is aware that it was typical behavior.

The Boy Erased star declined to talk about their romance in public in the past.

Before their breakup last year, he stated, “People on the street wouldn’t tell strangers about their personal lives, so why should I?”

He said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2022 that while he “can understand” the curiosity about their relationship given his prominence in the public eye, he “don’t see why these questions should always be answered.”

“I fully anticipate that inquiries will arise; after all, if I’m contributing to the world, people will inevitably want to know,” he continued.

Although they haven’t been together for a year, Taylor’s most recent album has stoked further rumors about their romance. Songs like “So Long, London” and “Fresh Out the Slammer” seem to be accusing Joe of cheating and destroying her dreams of the future.

In a statement following the release of TTPD, Taylor talked about letting go of the “sensational and sorrowful” period that served as the album’s inspiration.

“This phase of the writer’s life has concluded, with the chapter sealed and sealed,” the author penned. Once wounds have healed, there is nothing to settle scores or exact revenge on.

And after more thought, it became clear that many of them were self-inflicted.

This writer firmly believes that when our tears congeal into ink on a paper, they become holy. We can let go of our darkest tale once we’ve spoken it. After then, the pained poetry is all that is left.

Her brief liaison with Matty Healy, the frontman of The 1975, in the weeks following her breakup with Joe also seems to be mentioned on the record.

The song’s lyrics make reference to a man dressed in a “Jehovah’s Witness suit”—Matty is well-known for his eye-catching black suits—and typewriters that are seen on stage during his live performances.

Drug usage is also mentioned. In previous interviews, the frontman—who is currently dating model Gabbriette Bechtel—spoke candidly about his drug use.

Their brief romance, which neither party acknowledged, ended abruptly when Taylor faced criticism from listeners over Matty’s stereotypically “bad boy” persona and “racist” remarks on a podcast.
