Hundreds of thousands of Taylor Swift fans gathered in Seattle on Saturday for the latest stop on her “The Eras Tour.” The shows are meant to bring more people to the United States, which is good for business.

A huge crowd of fans waited outside Lumen Field to buy T-shirts and other things. The megastar will be playing there on Saturday and Sunday.

After flying from Salt Lake City, Utah, Ragnhild Read waited to buy Swift souvenirs. “I’d go anywhere in the world to see Taylor,” she told Reuters.

The die-hard Swift fan had already seen her perform in Salt Lake City in 2013 when she went there from her home in Seattle. She is going the opposite way this time.

The week before the show was named “Taylor Swift Week” by the King County Council to honor Snow. Woody thinks that 144,000 Swift fans will come to the city over the course of the two-day show series.

It’s a tribute to the tour tradition of fans trading braided jewelry, which started with her song “You’re on Your Own, Kid” from her most recent album “Midnights” that a huge friendship bracelet hangs over the entrance to the famous Space Needle.
