At CinemaCon 2024, Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy joined renowned filmmaker George Miller to present an exclusive first look at their upcoming movie, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.”
“A sonic and visual onslaught” of everything we could possible want from the Mad Max prequel is allegedly contained in the new Furiosa clip.
A tonne of additional words like “crushed bones” and “bloodsoaked revenge” are to be expected.

Variety, who was present, describes what happened as “a sonic and visual onslaught of fire, metal, chainmail, war paint, crushed bones, and bloodsoaked revenge.”
“In other words, it played fucking awesome in the room.”
In the film, Anya Taylor-Joy plays a younger Imperator Furiosa, who was portrayed by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). George Miller, the director of Mad Max, returns to direct the picture, which begins with her captivity by Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) and his Biker Horde. The film chronicles her quest for vengeance and attempts to reconcile with her family in her homeland.
“The primary topic George and I discussed was that Fury Road is a road movie,” Taylor-Joy said in an interview with the Inside Total Film podcast from the previous year. “You know, traveling somewhere, turning around, and returning takes place over the course of, I believe, three days. This is an epic, too. This happens over an extended length of time, and in that sense, you kind of get to know [Furiosa] better. That character is really amazing.
It was an incredible experience all around, and George is the greatest. I hope it’s enjoyable for [people].”
