”Lose You To Love Me” singer Billie Eilish was “low key freaking out” when she seen wearing Selena Gomez’s new Rare Beauty collection.
“Icon @billieilish is wearing @rarebeauty on the cover of vanity fair!!” Gomez said on her Instagram Story on Monday, sharing Eilish’s March 2021 Vanity Fair cover. Slightly frightened… You appear amazing!”
Gomez, 28, shared the image that makeup artist Robert Rumsey had created for the 19-year-old “Bad Guy” singer. Rumsey used her recently launched brand to give the singer a natural look that included dewy skin, mascara, and a flushed lip.
In September, Gomez unveiled her debut beauty collection, which consists of a variety of lip products, blush, luminizer, foundation, and concealer in an assortment of tones.
The former Disney Channel star has fangirled over Eilish before. Gomez discussed why Eilish is one of her favorite musicians in an earlier this year interview with Zane Lowe.
“First, I’ll say just the understanding she has – even her song “Xanny” — she already knows,” Gomez stated. “She is so aware of what this industry can be and become.” Talking about how she felt a connection to Billie’s song “Everything I Wanted,” she went on.
“When I heard that song, I just sobbed because I have been doing this for so long and it is like, ‘damn, that is so true,'” she said. “There have been numerous times when I have thought, ‘Oh, it does not matter who you are.'”There are times in my life when I ask myself, “Is this it?” She is deserving of everything that she has and has had. She is an extremely talented artist.”
Speaking with Vanity Fair, Eilish discussed her “horrible” past connection with her body and gave thought to a picture of herself that went viral online earlier this year, mostly because it showed her in a more form-fitting tank top than she usually wears.
Since my physique was the reason I used to cut myself, I believe that many around me were more concerned about it than I was. To tell the truth, my body is the reason I only started dressing in baggy clothes,” the woman remarked.
Eilish, who was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome and has an auditory processing issue, talked about how her body image has improved and how her current perspective is better than it was in her early adolescent years.
Though I was dancing a lot five years ago, I was not really eating, so I was very, really happy that I was in this point in my life instead of three years ago, when I was in the middle of my terrible body relationship. “I was literally starving myself,” admitted the five-time Grammy winner, whose aspirations of becoming a dancer were dashed due to a growth-plate injury.
“When I was twelve years old, I took a medication that claimed to help me lose weight, but all it did was cause me to urinate on the bed. It is simply absurd. Wow, I can not even believe that. Yes, “I thought that I would be the only one dealing with my hatred for my body, but I guess the internet also hates my body,” Eilish added, turning back to that paparazzi picture. That is fantastic, then.
When her upcoming Apple TV+ documentary The World’s a Little Blurry premieres on February 26, the singer will undoubtedly share additional personal details.
