‘Know When to Bleep’: Dwayne Johnson’s Controversial ‘Secret’ Agreement With TV Network Finally Revealed

While some WWE executives may not be pleased with The Rock’s most recent sass on the blue brand, FOX TV appears to be cool with it all. With advance access to the script, TV network representatives could have removed any offensive language as needed. We’re not sure if this will stop the problems from piling up, but it does clarify a key aspect of WWE’s FOX arrangement.

The truth about The Rock’s troublesome SmackDown promo as seen by FOX

Positive or negative, The Rock is always open to receiving a few additional pounds of attention. The former champion has drawn a lot of criticism ever since he adopted his traditional heel persona on WWE TV. However, a number of WWE insiders were offended by his alleged insulting remarks on SmackDown on March 15 since they went against the “networks'” and “standards & practices'” standards. But in reality, it didn’t. Dave Meltzer claims that Fox went through it with a fine-tooth comb before releasing it for broadcast. FOX receives the screenplay in advance, allowing them to know when to bleep. Since it’s evident that the entire The Rock promo is entirely staged. Someone else would just not be permitted to say it. However, with The Rock, it seems as though he can say whatever he wants to say, and since they know exactly what he will say and when, they can bleep out anything they want. Additionally, they are informed in advance on when to bleep it out. Meltzer mentioned on F4Wweb.

Since WWE is mostly thought of as a PG organization, it is not permitted to use expletives on a broad scale unless there are very special circumstances. The same holds true for promotions on social media. Now, despite the fact that The Rock’s most recent TV aberration may appear to the network to have deviated from the norm, the network had no problems with the content that was shown.

Going forward, The Brahma Bull presented a convincing case for his recent contentious behavior.

The Rock seemed unaffected by the outrageous promotional controversy.

The Rock’s insensitive SmackDown promo from last week has infuriated a number of corporate employees. That doesn’t disturb the Great One, though. He was forced to provide an explanation by the intensity of the controversies and backlash, but he never apologized for it. The Rock has developed a reputation for displaying his raw, nasty side with pride. He’s also the last person to have ever given up on this. In a recent Instagram post, the Holywood mogul said, “You sound like somebody the Rock can love—drunk and horny” My terminology raises concerns for networks and “standards & practices,” but I’d rather be honest than not. I strive to constantly have fun, speak from the heart, and shoot from the hip. Savor the rock show ~ Final Boss #SmackDown
