The Rock has had an interesting journey from renowned wrestler to A-list Hollywood celebrity. In his most recent film, “Hercules,” he is finally playing the role he has always wanted, but to get there, he had to make some tough decisions about his career, like firing his agents. Joe,” “Fast and Furious,” and now “Hercules.” John Chu, the director of “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” gave the actor the moniker “Franchise Viagra” in recognition of his ability to revive long-dormant film brands. It’s a fitting moniker for the quickly emerging celebrity. “Hercules” premieres in theaters on Friday.
