On March 10, the extremely reclusive newlyweds made their red-carpet debut at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which also marked their first public appearance together. Baptiste, 26, looked lovely in a strapless black-and-white gown with an Old Hollywood-inspired updo, while Evans, 42, opted for an unusual red Dolce & Gabbana suit for the black-tie occasion.
These types of love milestones typically occur before a celebrity couple marries, but the couple appeared at ease as they posed for photos with their arms wrapped around one other.

According to People, the couple had already been dating for “over a year.” And, while they do not disguise their feelings for each other, they do not make their relationship public. Aside from a few paparazzi photographs, the Warrior Nun actor has only made a few appearances in Evans’ Instagram Stories throughout the years, beginning with the infamous hoax film, which went down terribly with some of his more ardent fans.
This public appearance comes six months after the couple married on Cape Cod in September 2023, which Evans acknowledged a month later by showing up to New York Comic Con with a ring on his finger. “We basically had two ceremonies. We have one on the East Coast, one in Portugal, and my wife is Portuguese,” he told the audience, according to Page Six. “But they were wonderful and beautiful.” It is a lot of work organising a wedding; those of you who are married know how exhausting it can be.”
He went on to say, “But now that we have gotten over it, we have simply been enjoying life and getting ready for autumn—my favourite season. It is basically the finest time of year right now. Now we are just relaxing, enjoying life, and contemplating.”
