Incredible as it seemed, the outfit was really two pieces: a black structured sheer tulle dress and a form-fitting gold slip.

The platinum-haired actress from The Queen’s Gambit slicked her hair back in mermaid waves while wearing her hair parted in the middle.

She finished off her appearance with flawless makeup, choosing a golden eyeshadow and a daring red lip.

She posed for a photo at the event with 56-year-old director Denis Villeneuve, who wore a sharp black suit and directed the film Dune.

Anya participated in the photo op alongside Souheila Yacoub, Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet, Villeneuve, Austin Butler, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, and Lea Seydoux, as well as the rest of the Dune cast.

Zendaya, 27, turned heads in a breathtaking white gown with a plunging neckline that revealed a glimpse of her midriff.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Chalamet sported an all-leather outfit.

So far, Taylor-Joy’s involvement in the epic’s second instalment has been a mystery.

‘Major role’ from the franchise, according to Variety, is what Taylor-Joy plays in the film.

The second film picks off right where the first left off, with Paul Atreides and his mother, Lady Jessica, forming an alliance with the desert-dwelling Fremen—including Chani—in order to get revenge on the wicked House Harkonnen, whose members had murdered numerous members of his family and friends.

The novels were written by Frank Herbert in 1965 and have been adapted into films. The first picture was released in March 2021 to positive reviews and box office returns, and the sequel won six Oscars.

The principal actor, Timothee, portrays the messianic figure Paul, and Zendaya portrays Chani, a native Arrakis resident and member of the Fremen people.

Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, Paul’s opponent for control of Arrakis, is a vicious trained assassin, and Butler has joined the cast for the sequel to play him.

In the days leading up to the film’s March 1 release, early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, surpassing those of the previous instalment.

The second installment of Dune has received an astounding 97% approval rating out of 112 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

And many of the critics praised the film’s gargantuan scope, including Rolling Stone’s David Fear, who said: ‘Villeneuve has outdone himself.

“More importantly, he has not sanded away the edges—intentionally or not—of a stoner-lit touchstone’s back half, yet he has done justice to its scope, scale, and sheer weirdness.”

The’massive bet’ of dividing the film in two halves was, according to Variety’s Peter Debruge, “somehow paid off.”

Part Two “graduates from the world-building thrills of the 2021 original to a meaty, all-encompassing narrative,” he noted, building on the world created in the first picture.

In addition to Zendaya and Timothee, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, and Rebecca Ferguson all make cameo appearances in the sequel, playing Beast Rabban, Stigelar, Gurney Hallack, and Lady Jessica, respectively.

Besides Austin, other newcomers in Part 2 include Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Anya.

The film’s release date was delayed multiple times due to strikes involving both authors and actors; it was first planned for late October 2023, then November, and eventually March of current year.
